The exclusive and discreet home of Amancio Ortega in A Coruña: a private oasis.

Amancio Ortega has long held the title of Spain’s wealthiest person and remains one of the richest individuals on the planet. The owner of Inditex continues to generate substantial income from his businesses and investments, always seeking ways to grow his fortune through strategic acquisitions. In his latest move, he has purchased a building called Royal Park in Luxembourg.
This advancement in the wealth rankings coincides with Inditex’s historic annual results, which have reached unprecedented levels. For the first time, the textile group has surpassed €6 billion in profit, solidifying a period of sustained growth and reinforcing its position in the international fashion industry.
Over the past five years, Inditex has significantly increased shareholder remuneration. The dividend distributed by the company has grown by approximately 88% during this period, a boost that has particularly benefited Amancio Ortega as the group’s largest shareholder.
For the current fiscal year, Inditex plans to distribute a gross dividend of €1.75 per share. This represents an increase of about 4% from the previous year and accounts for roughly 60% of the company’s total profit for the last fiscal year.
Thanks to his 59.3% stake in the company, Amancio Ortega will receive nearly €3.234 billion in dividends. This is a record amount for the Spanish businessman, who continues to bolster his enormous wealth through the textile giant’s strong performance.
With these figures, the Inditex founder further solidifies his position as one of the most influential figures in European retail. He also maintains a prominent spot on the global wealth ranking, being the only Spanish representative on a list largely dominated by U.S. tech entrepreneurs.
According to Forbes, the billionaire list is constantly updated due to changes in financial markets. As a result, positions can shift within hours. Nonetheless, the publication notes that the wealth of the ultra-rich continues to grow at a very high rate worldwide.
